CAC stated this in a statement yesterday, saying that certificates of incorporation issued by the Commission would now carry TINs. Olutola Mobolurin, Chairman, Board of Directors, disclosed this at the Exchange’s first virtual Annual General Meeting, AGM, in Lagos, saying that it also generated N2.6 million from listing fees and N65.5 million investment income during the year as against N57.7 million recorded in 2018. Similarly, the volume of cheque transactions declined by 63 percent to 266,335 in May 2020 from 718,139 in May 2019. The huge declines came at the backdrop of a significant rise in the number of bank accounts opened by Nigerians during the same period. How to Seduce Straight Guys Amazon.com has agreed to pay over US$1-billion to buy self-driving start-up Zoox, The Information reported on Thursday, citing sources, in a move that would expand the e-commerce giant’s reach in autonomous vehicle technology. The report did not mention the exact purchase price and added Amazon is unlikely to disclose it when the deal is announced, likely to be on Friday. A majority of Zoox investors are getting their money back, with some making a positive return, the report added. Lux Capital, DFJ and Atlassian co-founder Michael Cannon-Brooks are some of the investors.
